About Me

Hi, my name is Zoe and I am a self-taught artist living in the UK.

Since I was a young girl, I have always been drawn to the vast spectrum of the bright beautiful colours in our world.  I remember sitting for hours either colouring in an abstract art book or drawing abstract shapes and then colouring them in with my jumbo set of coloured pencils or felt tips.

I have always had a creative mind and indulged in many other crafts including a special love of crotchet.  However, in the past several years, I rekindled my love of art and now use it as my way of relaxing and freeing my mind from the busy and hectic lifestyle we are all faced with in today's society.

 

My current artwork was first inspired by the beauty of Mandala Art.  However, my abstract mind guided me to be more free so I tried using the same method of dots in an abstract style.  This has been my passion ever since and I have created many pieces using this style and have extended my work to include creating pieces using a 3D method.
